Quite 'Pinterest'ing

I have found great interest in the new addiction of Pinterest. Since we were planning on building a new house, I started pinning a bunch of different things to use when we moved. I also found lots of other fun things. I decided to make this a post of all my Pinterest inspirations or pinspirations!

The Good:
*Family Picture Frames

*Cute Hair

I don't have my after picture of this one, but it works pretty well!

*Furniture Refinishing

*Hydrangea wreath

*Sawyer's Cooking Birthday Invitation
I found several invitations and catered them to his party.

*Pool noodle to keep Sawyer from falling out of bed=pure genius!
He fell out of bed 3 times within the first two weeks of moving. Ever since I stuck a pool noodle under his fitted sheet, he hasn't fallen out again!

*Chalkboard

*Washer/Dryer Pedestal
Abby and I didn't feel like spending the extra $500 to raise our washers and dryers. So we built these pedestals, with  a little help from a man with a nail gun!

The OK:
*Using painters tape to hang pictures

*Eggless cookie dough for a treat

The UGLY:
*Crockpot Lasagna
It seemed like a good idea, but by the time you are finished, the noodles are all soggy and nasty!

The UGLIEST:
*Natural beach wave hair using braids=NEVER TRY
This is the look you are shown.

You are supposed to braid your hair, then flat iron the braids. This is what it ended up looking like. YIKES!

2 Years, 3 Months

Sawyer is getting so big! His talking has come a long way. He will say any word you say, including the ones you don't want him to say! I dropped my phone one day and said, 'dang it'! Now, guess what he says? He also listens to EVERYTHING. Even when you think he's not listening. One day we went to Walmart to grab groceries, when Shane got home that night he asked about something we had bought and Sawyer said 'Walmart.' Not quite sure how he made that connection, but he is a smart one! He still loves cooking and eating. Some of his favorite foods are: pizza, chicken, treats of any kind (especially Swedish fish), fried rice, and lemonade (lemade). We have started trying nuts with him. Because of Shane's allergy, we had to wait until age 2. So far he has tried peanuts, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, and pecans with no allergic reactions! I will be so relieved if he doesn't have any allergies. He is definitely all boy. He loves to run, jump, climb, wrestle, and loves to play with cars and trucks. We sure love our little guy! Here are his cute pics.
